Why this site? Well, I've found that as years pass after graduating
from college, there is general drifting between friends. Yes, it's
easy to say that you'll stay in touch and call once a week, but as
we've all experienced, actions are a little hard to deliver once you
get your career rolling or a family started. Before you know it,
you're sitting there one day and thinking to yourself, "I wonder
what happened to Matt Britt?" Of course, that's a poor example since
we all know that Matt's in prison; but you understand where I'm
coming from.
Enter The Brodie Project. By harnessing the power
of the Internet in my own backyard, I've made it possible so that you
never have to lose touch with anyone ever again. That is, of course, only
if they add their information. I haven't quite figured out how to tag
people with remote collars--give it ten years though and we'll see.
The premise is simple, but it also requires a little
proactive action on the part of the individual. Simply
enter in your
information and I'll see to it that it gets posted on the website. Anytime
you move, remember to update your info so that others will always find
ways to reach you.
The eventual goal--and one that is taking shape with this version
of the site--is to make the project as dynamic as possible. In other
words, a living site that is updated by alumni rather than me.
For those of you alumni who I haven't yet met, I
apologize in advance for the current general theme of all things between
96-2000. Upload your photos, sounds, or videos in the media archive and
I'll see that they get circulated throughout the site. So, thanks for stopping by.
